It will not decrease. It will keep going up until they hit the $5.00 gal mark like they keep saying.

In San Antonio so far it's gone down 39-cents...49-cents if you count the Walmart gift card price. :)

I think gas will rise $.20 because of the Hurricane as well as the busy holiday weekend to come and then level out. I may go back down $.05 by then but still expensive.

In the earlier post I read where someone expects the price of gas to rise due to Hurricane Irene, because they were in that area. Unfortunately, historically speaking, gas prices pretty much always rise when there is a natural disaster and the prices tend to go up every where not just the effected areas. So yes I concur, the price of has will start rising every where, of course the excuse will be the hurricane effected the supply of petrol but I think we all no the real reason, the oil companies and startions look for any reason to increase profit. I hope I'm wrong..!

Commins, I Agree. This is the same poll as last week. I suspected something had gone wrong at Gas Buddy. Last night I saw the quantity of votes which seemed to have not been updated. As we know Sunday has always been the day of the week when we had always had the opportunity to earn 350 points for posting a comment to the weekly poll question.
Let's hope Gas Buddy is aware of this obvious error and rectify their error by awarding every gas Buddy who was denied the opportunity to receive the 350 points for commenting on the weekly poll question.

Fast to rise when the price of oil goes up; slow to fall when the price of oil goes down.

JT and/or Other Moderator(s):
Many members, myself included, have noticed that GB has now run this poll for TWO (2) CONSECUTIVE WEEKS. There are many comments in this topic. Since GB made a mistake and ran Week 34's poll question for TWO (2) weeks and NOT ONE (1) week, whereby members cannot get credit due for voting TWICE, is begs this question:
Since this is GB's mistake, will they allow members the credit for voting twice on this poll?
Thanks. We all look forward to this reply.

I think it might drop about 5 cents, but no more. I predict we will NEVER see gas for UNDER $3.00/gal ever again!
