Enjoy the 4th!

Something you should see since you don't believe me about Windows, and have a look into the possible future of Windows. I remember when they used to invite me to events on stuff like this. Here at YouTube:

Yeah, I kinda figured you believed the truth and felt that way about how it should be. Too many of my fellow greenies don't feel the way you and I do, but I don't feel I am or should be privileged nor should they be. They use the roads, so pay the taxes or a fee and a lot of politicians are pushing for a fee on EVs, which is ok with me. They'll base it on mileage, and with the black boxes they'll have in the vehicles beginning late this year or next year, it'll be easy to know how many miles people drive. You expect the same that I do when they start doing that. I don't expect a break from the politicians. That's about right, and that's what many want. It's NOT fair at all. EVERYONE WILL PAY, even those of us without a vehicle as we already do when the higher costs are passed onto us, and you pay even more when owning a vehicle and driving.

Yeah, they're typically a good 20 cents lower than most other places, unless you've got the lower independents and chains doing a gas war, then they're only about 10 cents lower. I use ALL the discounts that I can get for others.

"I don't believe their claims of those being all electric miles, but they might...$14,400,000 of lost tax revenue from those Volt owners." They've got plans to do that, but only one state is doing that so far. More will. Plus, and I'm sure you don't yourself, but, and you can pass this on, don't fall for their BS or their "double-speak," distortion of the truth or LIES! The Volt, as much as I might like it, is a hybrid. It uses gas, and not all the miles driven are electric only.

"Tax those miles to pay for the roads they used!" Agreed! I believe most of us would say and agree with that. If you haven't gotten filled up yet, please do so before it goes up at the pump. We're JUST starting to go up here. I've warned about 500+ people since Friday, and most have gotten it just in time.

I was just looking at your friends list and saw olefin. He was a truly honest friend who died a few months ago as you probably know. I e-mailed his wife Betty and told her that we'll try to visit her someday in Texas where she just moved to.

The prime rib was done just perfectly. Rare for me and medium rare for Kathie. We just had an Ahi tuna supper here at home and it was better than the prime rib.

Have a blessed Memorial Day!

Tonight we're having our last dinner here in Sin City at what used to be Terribles. It will be prime rib for under $10.
